What does AAA's AAR mean?

Becoming an AAR or "Approved Auto Repair" shop by AAA is not easy. If a shop wants an AAA approval designation, then an AAA service specialist must inspect the shop for cleanliness, proper tools, adequate technical training of employees, and the appropriate technician certifications. They will also make sure that the shop uses modern equipment and meets other criteria before allowing a shop to carry the AAR designation. We are located in Milpitas, CA (just outside of San Jose, CA) within walking distance to the Great Mall of the Bay Area, the VTA Light Rail "Orange Line", and the Milpitas Transit Center & BART Station. Our address is 1476 S Main St, Milpitas, CA 95035.

Our standard labor rate is competitive for exceptional service and expert diagnostics. Each situation is unique and estimates are provided prior to diagnosis or repair. No work will be performed without prior customer authorization.

We do not have a towing service but are a AAA approved Auto Repair facility. Just ask your tow truck company to drop your car off at Liberti's Auto Electric. Please call us prior to dropping off your vehicle so that we know to expect you and so that you have a clear understanding of the possible costs and turn-around times.

We currently only schedule appointments over the phone. Please give us a call at (408) 263-3339.

As a AAA Approved Auto Repair Shop we provide a 24-month/24,000-mile warranty (whichever comes first) on parts and labor under normal operating conditions. Note that this is double what most shops offer for their warranties.

1996 Acura Integra

I had a parasitic drain on my battery. Replaced the battery and had several different mechanics search for the problem. The problem continued. No one could find it. I know of Liberti's outstanding reputation, but hesitated because you get what you pay for. After a few months screwing around, I took it to "John" at Liberti's, and he found the problem the next day. It wasn't easy or readily apparent, but he found it relatively quickly, and fixed it immediately. With hindsight, I should have taken my car there immediately. Would have saved an extra $500. BTW, these mechanics are very respectful and patient. I truly appreciated being treated so kindly. Thanks, John!
